Yi Ni, a postdoctoral research fellow with Alex Bowers since Jan 2024, completed her Ph.D. in Cognitive and Brain Sciences with a Computer Science minor at the University of Minnesota in Dec 2023. During her doctoral studies with Vanessa Lee, she delves into psychological processes contributing to attention lapses and memory errors, aiming to enhance individuals' attention and memory during crucial moments. At Schepens with Alex Bowers, Yi Ni focuses on characterizing the impact of visual impairments on daily activities like driving, while also exploring rehabilitation interventions to address visual deficits. In her spare time, she likes to draw, jog, and read.
