Vincent Brunner, a visiting research student from the Technical University of Munich, is writing his Master's thesis in Bowers Lab at the Schepens Eye and Ear Research Institute. The Master's thesis explores the effects of visual distraction from secondary driving tasks and a Forward Collision Warning system on the driving behavior of people with hemianopia.

Before his Master's thesis, Vincent Brunner studied at the University of California San Diego, the University of Technology Sydney, and the Technical University Ingolstadt, focusing on Human-Centered Design.
