Ilja Felsdten

Ilja T. Feldstein is a researcher with an international academic background. His studies include, amongst others, Mechanical Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany, Engineering Sciences at the Arts et Métiers in France, and Medical Engineering at the ETH Zurich in Switzerland. Subsequently, he enrolled in a Ph.D. program at the Technical University of Munich in Germany, collaborating with NASA's Ames Research Center. In 2016, he was admitted to the Harvard Medical School as a Fulbright Scholar, where he joined Bowers Laboratory. Under Dr. Alex Bowers, he was responsible for leading the team that designed and built the new highly-immersive modular driving simulator for behavioral research studies. Ilja enjoys developing solutions for a large variety of problems and challenges in the research-and-development field.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing the piano, racquetball, and all kind of aviation activities surrounding skydiving, paragliding, and piloting.
